Since Februar 2008, I am a member of VDE. I interest to this organization because this organization provides information, excursion tour to many companies and possibilities to contact with professional. As a member I have followed VDE activities, especially with VDE Süd Baden. I have came to CeBIT, a big electronic exhibition in Hannover, Germany. We went from Freiburg to Hannover via several cities to pick up other VDE member.

The CeBIT is a very big exhibition followed by a huges number of companies from over the globe, therefore we need two days in visiting it. We staid in a Jugendherberger that is located about 125 km from the exhibition place. We got a nice place to stay and food for a break fast. During the exhibition, I saw many interesting products that totally new like mini laptop with unique keyboard, new software, hardware, batterie for laptop and many more.

Beside CeBIT, I have also attend the VDE member meeting in Konstanz, a small city in south Germany with big lake. In this meeting I met the VDE members from the youngest to the oldest (92 years old). In the meeting, there is a presentation about globalisation and presentation about VDE development in the last year. The meeting was closed with dinner and giving a certificate for 25 and 50 years as VDE member.
